A Backup Plan — Not Something You Want To Use
Crisis Pass is designed as a safety net, not something you hope to rely on.
The goal is simple:
To ensure that expatriates and their families have clarity, structure and guidance before a crisis happens — not during it.
When you already have a plan, decisions become easier, faster and calmer.
About Crisis Plan
Purpose-built for the moments that matter.
To provide expatriates across the Middle East with peace of mind through preparedness, trusted intelligence, and human support when uncertainty arises.
Built by Someone Who Has Lived Through Regional Crises
Crisis Pass was founded by Karan Trehan, a consultant and entrepreneur who has lived and worked in the Middle East for over 17 years.
During that time, he experienced firsthand how quickly situations can change.
He was present in the region during:
- The Bahrain Spring
- The COVID-19 global pandemic
- Multiple geopolitical escalations affecting travel, airspace, and regional security
These experiences highlighted a critical gap.
While governments and embassies do their best to assist citizens, they are often overwhelmed during large-scale crises and cannot provide individualized support to every expatriate family.
Crisis Pass was built to fill that gap.

What Crisis Pass Provides
Crisis Pass is not a news website. It is a preparedness and support system designed to help expatriates remain informed, organized, and ready to act if necessary.
Members receive access to:
- Real-time crisis intelligence and regional alerts
- Personal evacuation planning guidance
- Visa and documentation support
- Flight and relocation information
- Family and pet relocation planning
- Emergency logistics contacts
- Trusted medical and insurance networks
- A 24/7 human hotline
Unlike many services that rely purely on AI chatbots, Crisis Pass ensures that members can speak to real people when they need support most. Because during a crisis, reassurance matters just as much as information.
